Riyadh road development program has entered a new construction phase after the launch of its fourth package, valued at approximately $2.6 billion (SAR 9.8 billion).
The latest package will deliver four major road corridor projects across Riyadh, adding 40km of upgraded infrastructure. The works include 14 major intersections, 33 bridges, five tunnels, and six pedestrian bridges. Once complete, the expanded network will accommodate more than 950,000 vehicles daily, helping ease congestion and improve mobility across the Saudi capital.
The new package forms part of the Main and Ring Road Axes Development Program, one of Riyadh’s largest ongoing transportation initiatives. The projects aim to strengthen connectivity between key districts while supporting the city’s rapid population growth and economic expansion. In addition, the developments align with Saudi Vision 2030 goals for modern, efficient, and sustainable urban infrastructure. More
