If you’re planning to travel around the city via the metro, make a note of the Riyadh Metro Eid Al-Adha timings changes in schedules across its six lines.
Riyadh Metro Eid al-Adha timings
The Riyadh Metro Eid Al-Adha timings and operating hours will be from 11am until midnight, from Tuesday, May 26 until Saturday, May 30.
Riyadh buses will operate daily from 5am to midnight on the same days. And bus on-demand service will also be available from 10.30am until midnight.
The six lines of Riyadh Metro
If you’re new to using the Riyadh Metro, here’s a quick overview of the six Riyadh Metro lines:
- Blue Line: From SAB to Ad Dar Al Baida
- Red Line: King Abdullah Road, connecting King Fahd Sports City and King Saud University
- Orange Line: From Jeddah Road to Khashm Al An
- Yellow Line: From King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) to King Khalid International Airport (KKIA)
- Green Line: King Abdulaziz Road, connecting Ministry of Education Station to the National Museum Station
- Purple Line: From KAFD to An Naseem.
Riyadh Metro ticket prices
Besides paying for tickets per trip, you can avail of the Riyadh Metro Pass if you take the metro trains regularly. The different passes available are:
- SAR4 for a 2-hour ticket
- SAR20 for a 3-day ticket
- SAR40 for a 7-day ticket
- SAR140 for a 30-day ticket.
Tickets are free for children under the age of six years.
