Saudi Arabia has launched the “Jewel of the Bride” (Jawharat Al Arous) project in Jeddah, a $2 billion large-scale residential and mixed-use development.
Positioned as one of the Kingdom’s major urban expansion initiatives, the project is part of ongoing efforts to boost housing supply and support long-term population growth in the city’s northern corridor.
Spanning an area of around 107 million sq m, the development will include 18 residential neighbourhoods designed to accommodate over 700,000 residents. It will also feature more than 80,000 residential and commercial plots, alongside extensive service and government facilities aimed at creating a fully integrated urban environment.
The project is being positioned as a major contributor to Jeddah’s future urban landscape, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 objectives to expand livable cities and strengthen real estate infrastructure.
