The public transport of Riyadh, overseen by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, showcased a comprehensive presentation of the modern technologies used in the operation of the fully automated, driverless Riyadh Metro during its exhibition booth at the Saudi International Railways Conference and Exhibition, specialized in the transport sector.
They explained smart services such as the ‘Darb’ application, which allows users to plan their trips and pay for tickets digitally, in addition to providing detailed information about the integration between the metro and bus routes, and the dedicated lane buses.

This was during the public transport of Riyadh’s participation in the exhibition, which is held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Chairman of the Board of Saudi Railways ‘SAR’, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, at the Roshan Front in Riyadh, on October 19 and 20, 2025, under the slogan ‘Leading Transformation, Shaping the Path’.
The public transport of Riyadh also showcased at its booth the details of the transport network that serves vital areas in the capital, including the latest developments related to the Riyadh Metro and buses, as well as the integration services between them.
They provided visitors with a direct opportunity to learn about the components of the public transport network and to experience some of its services digitally through interactive display stations, reflecting the scale of development that the capital has reached in the field of modern urban transport.
