Riyadh metro Orange Line train delivered

Bombardier is supplying 47 of the two-car trains for the 40.7km east-west line, which is due to open in 2019. The trains are being assembled at Bombardier’s plant in Sahagún, Mexico.

The first Bombardier Innovia Metro 300 train for the Riyadh metro Orange Line (Line 3) was delivered to the Saudi capital on November 29.

Bombardier is supplying 47 of the two-car trains for the 40.7km east-west line, which is due to open in 2019. The trains are being assembled at Bombardier’s plant in Sahagún, Mexico.

Bombardier is a member of the Arriyadh New Mobility Group consortium led by Ansaldo STS, which was awarded a $US 5.2bn contract to build and equip the Orange Line in 2014. More info
